
Details of Ricky Hatton’s funeral service have been made available by his family.
At the age of 46, the former world champion was discovered dead earlier this month at his Hyde, Greater Manchester, home.
On October 10 at noon, Manchester Cathedral will hold his funeral.
The fighter, who is regarded as one of Britain’s most well-known ever, received tributes from all over the world.
Matthew, Hatton’s younger brother, and former boxer, shared their love on X: “I love you Richard. See you facing the other way.
Former England and Manchester United midfielder Ricky was described on Instagram as “one of a kind.”

There will always be one Ricky Hatton, according to former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. I find this to be so young.
Hatton won 45 of his final 48 professional fights and won world titles at both light- and welterweight during his acclaimed 15-year career.
With more than 30 000 fans traveling to Las Vegas for his title fight with the latter in 2007, he also won notable world titles against Kostya Tszyu and Jose Luis Castillo.
