Rebekah Vardy and lawyers ‘to watch I’m A Celebrity carefully’ amid Coleen Rooney appearance
Rebekah Vardy is set to closely watch this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here – and so are her lawyers, according to reports.
Former pal Coleen Rooney and the WAG had a contentious legal dispute. Recently, she was ordered to pay a further £100, 000 following their high-profile Wagatha Christie libel battle ahead of the full amount owed being decided.
Rebekah’s legal team is said to be on high alert now that Coleen is scheduled to leave for the jungle in the upcoming weeks.
According to reports, Coleen will reportedly join Maura Higgins and Barry McGuigan, a boxing legend, for the upcoming camp. Rebekah’s appearance on the show is her “ultimate revenge,” which has been referred to as her. It comes seven years after Rebekah’s first appearance on the show.
Rebekah will likely be “glued” to the popular ITV show, along with her legal team, despite some claims that she won’t be watching. Rebekah would be prepared to file a new lawsuit if any of Coleen’s comments were to potentially defame her, according to brand and culture expert Nick Ede.
Ede said: “100% Rebekah will not be happy that Coleen is going on the show. In case she receives any nuggets from Coleen that might defame her, she will be keeping her eyes and ears glued to the screen. Rebekah is a well-known jungler, and Coleen’s decision to follow her will only add insult to injury.
According to him, “Coleen is a very private person, so for her to agree to this will and to appear on the jungle producers will want her to reveal more about the Wagatha Christie case.”
However, Ede stated that Coleen will be “careful” and likely to rehear what she intends to say because she will be fully aware of any incoming interrogations from campmates.
Coleen’s appearance is said to due to her unquenchable ruthless streak. According to sources close to her, Coleen was unable to pass up the chance to end up as her biggest rival in front of a tidbit of a million viewers. An insider told the Mail that “she has a mischievous side to her.” Although Becky dragged her through a court, it will always come up again, and Coleen has always been open about the situation.
Sam Thompson, a former Made in Chelsea star, was crowned King of the Jungle by hosts Ant and Dec last year, much to the delight of homegrown fans. Danny Jones, a McFly star, is the favorite to win the title this year.
