Marcus Rashford, an on-loan player for Aston Villa, is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a hamstring injury.

The extent of the issue, which prevented Rashford from being eliminated from Crystal Palace’s FA Cup semi-final on Saturday, is still being investigated.

The 27-year-old is currently on loan at Manchester United, but it is still possible that he will return before the Premier League campaign is over.

Because he is not eligible to play in Villa’s final game of the campaign against United on May 25, Rashford’s final league appearance would be against Tottenham on May 18 if he makes a comeback before that time.

Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn squared off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday in a highly anticipated boxing match.

He has already made a decision to wait until later in the summer before discussing his future.

While Ruben Amorim is United manager, Rashford’s contract runs until 2028, but he does not anticipate playing there again.
