Meghan Markle has previously stated that she wanted to keep her “safe haven” private by maintaining her home, but she broke with a brief Instagram post in which she showed off her stylish home.
Meghan Markle has given her Instagram followers a rare glimpse into her $14million (£10.5million) mansion. Showing a peek into her living room, the Duchess of Sussex showed off her opulent home, complete with a $2,000 (£1,400) Hermes throw.
The former Suits actress lives with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The family have put down roots in Montecito, California, after famously ditching the UK – and the Royal Family – for warmer climes.
A stunning floral arrangement was featured in a clip Meghan, 44, shared on her Stories. Mia, her beagle, was resting on a cream armchair while she slept soundly.

Before turning over to a massive bouquet that is perched on top of a dark side table, she continues to film. The logo of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, appears on the white vase.
She omitted her husband’s family in her subtle royal nod, writing, “Delphinium, Nigella, Veronica- meet As Always. with a very sleepy Mia and Queen Anne’s lace. Ladies, you look lovely.
A brown and cream Hermes throw that retails for around $2,000 was visible in the living room. With an outdoor table and chair and a leafy canopy, Meghan’s patio space was visible from the outside.
The look into her home is a rare insight into their life, after it was revealed her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, was actually not filmed at her own property at all. Instead, Meghan had arranged for ‘home’ scenes to be filmed at a nearby rental.
She stated to People, “I wanted to protect that safe haven.” We live in a close-knit community, and I adore those times when we take our daughter for a nap, eat lunch together, and spend sacred time together at the end of the day. With an 80+ person crew in your home, that’s a lot of people to have in your kitchen, especially since Mama only cooks for the family.”
The vase suggests that more lines are on the horizon, despite the fact that As Ever, a lifestyle brand owned by Meghan, currently only sells jams, wine, and crepe mixes. She first announced its current name in February 2024 when she first introduced her brand under the name American Riviera Orchard.
Meghan and Harry’s decision to keep their children’s royal titles was recently revealed despite the removal of their own HRH titles. The couple reportedly spoke to Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, Harry’s cousins, after making the move.
According to journalist Neil Sean, who spoke via the Express, “Harry and Meghan are very, very interested in clinging onto those royal titles.” Meghan “adopted the titles after much reflection, not just for her but also for both of her children.”
Meghan forged a close relationship with the most powerful monarchists, the Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. After this, Meghan realized how useful a title can be, especially when moving in the appropriate circles. That is the justification for their desire to hold onto titles.
