In his statement to the UN General Assembly, Gaza’s qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani claimed that Israel had committed a genocide there. He continued, noting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “takes pride in preventing peace with the Palestinians.”
