Princess Andre has acknowledged that she “hasn’t recovered” from some of her early years and that her mother’s heartbreak prevented her from dealing with issues head-on.
Princess Andre has candidly opened up on life growing up and explained her her mum’s split still affects her. The 18-year-old daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre confessed she wished she could have had a happier childhood and says she had “so many things on my plate at a young age”.
The teen admits in her most recent fly-on-the-wall documentary that despite having wonderful childhood memories of growing up with both her parents and herself, she occasionally wishes she didn’t care so much about things. She acknowledged that there were “not so good memories” as well.
It was then that she discussed mum Katie’s split from Kieran Hayler. The pair had tied the knot on January 16, 2013, at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort in the Bahamas, and went on to have two kids together, Jett and Bunny. We bonded incredibly close to him because, in her words, “he was in our lives for like five years.” He provided a lot of services, but when they split up, things kind of went wrong.
“My mother obviously dealt with that in the best way because she was devastated,” she said. It is understandable that she went through a very, very dark period.
Princess continued, “It was difficult for me because I was around adultery things that kids should never see. She wasn’t emotionally able to be there because she had to deal with so many of her own issues.”
She continued, adding that during difficult times, their lives were frequently covered in the press, and that this would irritate her. She acknowledged that because of the strained relationship between her parents, she would never talk to him about it.
Princess said she is okay with talking about her childhood and that she would be fine if she could talk about it. However, once something starts to annoy me and makes me cry, “Oh my God!”
“And then it gives the impression that I’m not entirely healed from what has occurred.” She now claims that her mother has “fixed herself” and expressed regret for her past actions, despite not having completely recovered from it.
Princess acknowledged that the apology, while not necessary, helped her mother come to terms with her need for prioritizing her children and that it has aided in bringing the two closer together.
She’s like my best friend, Princess exclaimed in a rousing ovation. Princess made her modeling debut with PrettyLittleThings last year, and she’s now making a comeback with the reality TV industry. The influencer will earn thousands of dollars by following her famous parents into a reality star.
Katie is a big inspiration to her because she is aware of the fact that her mother became famous very early in her career, according to a source close to The Sun. Producers are keen to emphasize that it is about her and not her well-known parents, despite the fact that it is a huge deal. Although it’s likely to be more of a cameo, Katie and Peter will likely make an appearance.
