Prince Harry’s five biggest fall-outs after meeting Meghan Markle – from brother to celeb pals

Prior to meeting Meghan Markle in 2016, Prince Harry allegedly had a falling out with at least five people who were once a significant part of his life.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, parents to two children, are said to be “going their own ways” professionally, as per numerous Royal experts.

The pair, married since 2018, are reportedly now leading separate professional lives, with the Duke’s circle of friends also having changed since their nuptials. Meghan and Harry announced their retirement from their previous jobs as senior working royals by making a massive 5, 000-mile home there.

We examine five close relationships that Harry seems to have lost since we tied the knot with Meghan.

Prince William and Kate Middleton

The Duke of Sussex and his brother are no longer on any terms, despite being previously referred to as the “fab four,” along with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Reports also suggest that Harry hasn’t spoken to his sister-in-law, whom he once referred to as “the sister he’d never had”, as the Express reported.

Royal expert Phil Dampier told Fabulous that Harry and William are still at odds with one another when it comes to Lord Robert Fellowes’ funeral, and that William’s top priority is to take Kate after she recovers from abdominal surgery and take additional royal duties to cover for the King. However, Harry’s habit of flying in and out for less than two days seems odd.

He repeated this throughout the Coronation, and it appears he isn’t interested in seeing any of his former friends. In the eyes of the UK, he has become “Harry No Mates.”

Dampier added, “Some of his friends in England didn’t take to Meghan and he resented it, so he cut them out of his life.”

Victoria and David Beckham

Former close friends of Meghan and Harry, Victoria and David Beckham, have also experienced strain in their relationship. In 2018, Harry allegedly accused the Beckhams of leaking stories, which was said to have left David “furious”.

David was also “snubbed” by Harry after flying from London to Sydney at the royal’s request to attend the 2018 Invictus Games. David’s relationship with Prince William appears to have grown closer.

David and Victoria Beckham aren’t exactly thrilled with Harry and Meghan’s public criticism of the Royal family, according to Richard Eden, the Daily Mail’s diary editor.

He shared: “So it is, perhaps, no surprise that the Sussexes ‘ attacks on the Royal Family failed to impress the Beckhams”.

One of their associates tells me that David and Victoria place a lot of value on family and that they would never, ever, turn their relations against them. In reality, Victoria never really liked Meghan. She treated her well, but she doesn’t care to keep in touch.

Dominic West

In another Royal friendship gone sour, Prince Harry has apparently severed ties with his former actor buddy Dominic West. After Dominic recounted an incident where they allegedly drank champagne from a prosthetic leg, Harry, who is now 40, is said to have been furious.

Since he spilled the beans in 2014, the actor for “Crown” hasn’t heard from the prince. In 2022, a West friend claimed that Dominic had invaded his privacy. Dominic told him not to be ridiculous. They haven’t spoken since”.
