Prime Target actor Leo Woodall opened up on having to film “stressful” scenes and shared feelings towards his Bridget Jones co-star.
During a recent chat on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, Leo offered an insight into how his characters are often involved in quite “exposing” and “intimate” scenes, and he explained how he manages it. “It’s part of the gig”, he said. “I think I’m lucky to not have been part of a scene that was, I don’t know, gratuitously explicit”.
Meanwhile, he did acknowledge that it can be stressful, saying: “When you know you’re getting your kit off and however many people are going to see you naked or whatever, it’s stressful, man. I feel like you’ve got to have a sense of humour about it, as much as you can”.
However, while confessing that the idea of having so many people watching his explicit scenes can prove challenging, he added: “But, you know there are some days where I really don’t feel like doing it, and there are days where I feel a bit more casual about it. It’s just very mood dependent”.
Away from sharing how he deals with intimate scenes, the 28-year-old expressed his admiration for his Bridget Jones co-star Renée Zellweger and what she has achieved with her iconic character down the years. He said: “What Renee has done with that character across the span of 20 years, is really one in itself”.

After the latest film in the Bridget Jones franchise released in cinemas last month, he continued his glowing tribute to Renée: “There’s not something I think I can compare to it. I think she’s so wonderful. She’s made so many people, if not feel seen, but just feel cosy”.
In what has been a hugely successful career so far, Leo’s first major foray into acting came in 2021 when he appeared in the Apple Original film, Cherry, alongside the likes of Tom Holland. Since then his career has continued to reach new heights having starred in the hugely popular One Day on Netflix and Prime Target before playing Roxster McDuff in Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy.
