Ports blocked as protests erupt across Italy over Gaza

As a result of union-wide protests against Israel’s occupation of Gaza, Italian dockworkers squatted ports in Genoa and Livorno. As the government of Italy is under increasing pressure to recognize Palestine at the UN, strikes have caused disruption to schools and traffic.
