Police Arrest Murder Suspect In Lagos, Recover Exhibits
A murder suspect has been taken into custody in Lagos by police. allegedly committed the crime as a result of an altercation with the deceased, named Okeke Johnchris.  ,
According to Muyiwa Adejobi, the spokesman of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), Okeke and William Wisdom engaged in a “violent confrontation” last week in the Ikoyi region of Lagos.
“Following a heated argument, Okeke allegedly rammed his Lexus saloon car into William, inflicting severe injuries. In a statement released on Sunday, Adejobi said William was taken to Gbagada General Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was taken to IDH Morgue in Yaba for an autopsy after a team of detectives arrived on the scene. In attente of the results of the inquiries and arraignment, the suspect has been apprehended and is currently being held by the police.
He counseled Nigerians against engaging in “violent confrontations” with others and urged “those offended to seek proper redress through prescribed legal procedures.” Citizens must take their own lives when it comes to the law.

In another development, police operatives in the same state “intercepted a suspected hoodlum identified as Wisdom Obi ‘ m’, 24 years”.
At the Abule Ado bus stop along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway in Amuwo Odofin, the suspect was “riding an unregistered motorcycle.” Upon searching the suspect, a brownie pistol along with 13 rounds of live ammunition was discovered concealed within an MP3 radio”, he said, adding that he was taken into custody, his motorcycle, and recovered items documented as exhibits.
Four suspected traffic robbers were also apprehended by Lagos Police Command officers from the Orile Iganmu Division.
Adejobi identified them as: “Kadir Ibrahim ‘ m’, Ifeanyin John ‘ m’, Oduwole Shola ‘ m’, and Rilwan Olajuwon ‘ m'”.
