Doriane Pin has won the Las Vegas F1 Academy title.
The Frenchwoman, age 21, finished in fifth place in the final race of the season in the top six to claim the title.
The only Dutchwoman to surpass Pin was Maya Weug, who finished third.
Weug crashed during the formation lap in the first reverse-grid race, which Prema Racing’s Pin won, extending her championship lead to 20 points. This was the all-female series’ dramatic final race weekend.
Weug, a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, needed to win the title race to finish second, which required him to do so.
Weug came in ninth place, Mercedes protege Pin coming in second overall.
F1 Academy held its first Las Vegas race event this year, and the organization has just extended its sponsorship deal for the upcoming season.
Pin first entered the F1 Academy in 2024, but Britain’s Abbi Pulling lacked the title last year.
In the second race of the weekend, American Chloe Chambers won the race thanks to her pole position.
