Pete Wicks, a former The Only Way Is Essex star, and Maura Higgins, his girlfriend, have been linked to another Love Island star just weeks after their six-month fling.
Pete Wicks is said to have found love with another Love Island star. The 37-year-old The Only Way Is Essex star is well known for his romantic antics.
He most recently had a relationship with Love Island star Maura Higgins, who he reportedly dated from August, 2024 until their abrupt breakup in February, 2018. When Curtis Pritchard and her partner, Curtis Pritchard, fell in love with each other during season five of Love Island, they broke up months after the show stopped filming.
Pete, one of the cast members of ITV’s TOWIE, filmed his love life, which led to headlines and drama for seven years in front of reality TV cameras from 2015 to 2022. He was supported by Maura along the way and won over new fans when he competed on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
It appears that Pete has rekindled his romantic interest in Samantha Kenny following their breakup earlier this year. The 27-year-old was a contestant on the reality dating show’s season 11 in the summer of 2024, but she left the island after only two weeks.
According to a source, Pete and Samantha have gone on a few dates and have really hit it off. The Sun claims the pair have been on a number of dates. She is absolutely gorgeous and has a wicked sense of humor.
The pair were previously spotted hugging outside Mayfair’s Amazonico club at the end of last month. The Mirror has contacted representatives of both for comment.
And Sammy appears to have a type on paper, just like Pete does, who may have a liking for women who have appeared on Love Island. The 34-year-old online content creator fell for Joey Essex while she was a student at the villa.
Joey himself appeared on TOWIE from 2011 until 2013 and was a surprising guest on Love Island last summer. However, Samatha was not the only one to have an upswing as he also enjoyed dates with Jess White, Jessy Potts, and Grace Jackson.
Meanwhile, Maura’s scandal last month resulted in her being caught kissing married musician Danny Jones while they were both attending the 2025 BRIT Awards. The incident that resulted in the most media coverage of McFly star Danny’s marriage was a marriage risk.
