Some fans have come to terms with Blake Lively’s 38th birthday, saying she was born under a different name.
Although she has since become a household name in her role as Serena van der Woodsen in the teen drama Gossip Girl, it seems that some viewers are still learning the fundamentals about Blake Lively twenty-so-many years later. Between 2007 and 2012, the Hollywood actress portrayed Serena as the series’ lead.

Today (August 25) Blake celebrates her 38th birthday but unbeknown to many, her name isn’t Blake Lively at all, which has proven the subject of discussion on social media.
Who else was unaware of this? One confused TikTok user was asked in a video. Is it just now that I learn that Blake Lively’s real last name is Brown? The star, in fact, was born on August 25, 1987, Blake Ellender Brown.
The TikTok user elaborated further, explaining that Blake Lively’s biological father, Ronnie Brown, chose the last name of his mother’s ex-husband as Ronnie Lively.
“Brown should be Blake’s real last name, not Lively,” he said. Do I have a rock under my skin? Is it just me, or someone else, who didn’t know this? “
Eric Lively, Blake’s brother, was born Eric Brown in the same manner in 1981.
One TikTok user responded, “I knew she was born Brown, but I didn’t know the details.” That is crazy! Never have I heard that ever occured! “
Blake was spotted in a video chat with fellow actress Anna Hendrick, who explained how her first name came into being in another TikTok video.
She claimed that Blake, my grandmother’s brother, was his. He was murdered, though. Blake also has Lori, Robyn, and Jason, her mother’s first siblings, all of whom have also worked in the entertainment sector.
She went on to explain it further in an interview with RadioFree, saying, “It’s kind of embarrassing to tell people because it sounds like a really cheesy stage name.
