Less than two weeks before Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance, which will feature him singing with Black Sabbath one last time, has started rehearsals for his final performance. Frontman Ozzy simply said “Hello from rehearsals” in a photo that was shared on social media!

In the photo, Ozzy was standing with band members Geezer Butler, who plays bass, and Bill Ward, who also features a walking stick. Tony Iommi, a guitarist, was not present. Sharon, Ozzy’s wife, added, “Reunited and rehearsing,” to the caption.

Ozzy had flown in for the countdown to the show, according to a source close to the band who claimed the rehearsals were in the UK.

Ozzy and Black Sabbath will play their final performance at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5th as part of a concert titled “Back To The Beginning.” For the first time in 20 years, this show will bring together the original band members, including Bill Ward, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Tony Ward.

Without Ward on the drums, the band played its “last” gig in Birmingham in 2017 with Osborne, guitarist Iommi, and bassist Butler. However, Ozzy was unable to attend the band’s American Rock ‘N’Roll Hall of Fame inauguration last year.

Tony acknowledged in a previous interview that the show was “excited mixed with fear” ahead of it, and that rehearsals are set to begin this month.

Ozzy and his bandmates perform during rehearsals.

If everything comes together well, he said, “This would be a big, monumental thing.” The unknown worries me the most, in my opinion. What will happen is beyond our control. We typically practice and play the song for a while before going on the tour, which is just us. However, there are many more moving parts to this event.

Ozzy is well-known for running around, but he won’t be doing that for this show, he said. I’m not sure if he’ll be sitting on a throne or standing.

Tony said at the start of June during Music Week: “Once we start playing, we’ll know we’re doing it. Even when we’ve done tours before, there’s always that build-up, and eventually it’s so much that we do it and it’s okay.

Ozzy, who has Parkinson’s disease, described last month how he has been receiving physical therapy and training in Los Angeles in an effort to get fit enough to perform on stage after battling a list of ailments.

Sharon, Ozzy’s wife, stated that he collaborates with his therapist daily. He’s actually doing really well. Because his fans are his number one priority in life, Ozzy is working hard to make this show the ideal ending for it.

The band’s resilience, according to Ozzy’s wife, is evidenced by Music Week’s celebration gig, which they attended over 50 years ago. You need to remember that this band was founded in the 1960s and is still active today, she said. Many of the bands that started out in the 1960s are no longer active or alive.

Ozzy admitted in May that he is struggling with stage fright and self-confidence ahead of his summer UK farewell show, but vowed to give it all.
