With husband Alex Bowen, who she met while participating in Love Island, Olivia Bowen just gave birth to her second child.

Olivia Bowen, a member of Love Island, said she recalls her agonizing birth and that she thought she was going to pass away. The TV host recently and husband Alex Bowen delivered their second child.

She has already mentioned that her daughter, Siena Grace, will likely lose a lot of blood due to the birth in August of this year. The couple, who already have three-year-old son Abel, gave birth to a girl via social media.

They have also been open about the birth’s uneven timing. After losing nearly three litres of blood due to her tearing her uterus in two places, it was reported that the mother-of-two required an emergency C-section as well as a blood transfusion.

Olivia had intended to give birth at home, but a prolapsed bladder caused her to be taken to the hospital and undergo surgery. She has since discussed the entire experience with The Sun.

She said, “I believed I would lose my life.” When Alex saw “the color drain from Olivia’s face,” the “atmosphere” changed at the time. He claimed that it was “the scariest thing” he’d ever witnessed.

Olivia then had to recover at home for the following months, which she claimed was made harder by having to care for her older child at the same time.

Sharing her birth news on Instagram, Olivia wrote: “I can’t even find the words other than to say our beautiful girl Siena Grace is here, and we are all bursting with love.

“It wasn’t an easy ride but every second worth it a thousand times over. I love my babies.” Olivia’s pregnancy and birthing experience are covered in the couple’s ITV2 reality series.

At the start of the pregnancy, Alex and Olivia revealed to each other that they were expecting twins, but they regret to have lost one of their babies eight weeks later.

Olivia appeared on ITV’s Loose Women where she said she found out they were having twins just before Christmas when they went to an early six week scan.

She said, “We had that two-week period where we were planning bedrooms, car seats, and vanishing twin syndrome.”

“One of the babies essentially lacked a heartbeat, but I had no signs of heartbeat, no pain, or bleeding to let me know that was what we were going into. We were floored when these two little ones arrived.

One twin passes away in the womb and “vanishes,” according to studies, which occurs in roughly 36% of twin pregnancies.
