As witnesses described the “horrific” scene at the band’s sold-out concert in Wembley Stadium as “tragic” tribute to a fan who tragically plunged to his death on Saturday night.
The man, who is in his 40s, is thought to have sat in the stadium’s upper tier when he fell. The man was quickly reached by emergency services, but sadly he was later declared dead.
Oasis have released a statement and expressed their condolences to the tragic victim in a statement following the tragic incident. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher described the death of a fan as “shocked and saddened” in heartfelt words.
We are shocked and devastated to learn about a fan’s tragic passing last night at the show. The family and friends of the victim are in need of our sincere condolences.
At 10.19pm, the Met Police confirmed officers arrived on scene to report a hurt person toward the end of the band’s reunion show.
The Met has been contacted by any witnesses and concertgoers with information about the tragedy, according to police who stated that officers at Wembley had located the man with “injuries consistent with a fall.”

A concert goer was found with injuries consistent with a fall, according to a Wembley Stadium spokesperson.
“Despite their efforts, the fan very tragically passed away. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained police officers, and we condole our thoughts.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the police, the police said. The Oasis concert will continue as planned tonight.
A horrified concertgoer posted their account of the tragic incident on Facebook, writing, “Anyone else witness the guy drop from the upper tier last night.
A guy standing next to me slipped on the railing and fell below, as I was in block 511. Was pretty messed up, but I’m still hopeful for him.
A lower-tier concertgoer described witnessing emergency personnel rush to the spot where the fan’s concrete hit after the plunge. I was directly beneath section 211, she wrote.
“At first glance, I thought it was a coat falling from the above tier, but I later realized the bloke was on the concrete.” It was horrifying to watch.
Noel, 58, was forced to control his temper after Oasis’ London fans began to boo him when he inquired if there was anyone in the crowd from Manchester.

Noel sat in front of a crowded crowd while his acoustic guitar was circling his shoulders, but he only saw a select few people who had upset him.
Noel asked the crowd, “Any Mancunians we got in the house? ” while sporting a black t-shirt and a pair of denim jeans. Except for a few people toward the front of the stage, the audience erupted in a roar of cheers in response.
Noel retorts at the culprits in the crowded audience after hearing the boos.
The singer, 58, glared directly at the crowd and said, “What you f****g booing for? You’re here because there are only Mancunians. You’re here because of Manchester, don’t you? Do you want to be us? What are you praising?
After dedicating his next song to “all Mancunians,” he turned his back to the audience and strummed his guitar.
