Oasis are back, and this is everything we know so far about the eagerly awaited comeback tour.
There are now less than 100 days to go before brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher take to the stage for the first time in 16 years as the Oasis Live 25 reunion tour gets underway. All 17 UK dates sold out on the day of release with an extra two dates added to meet the incredible demand.
Competition was fierce after the Mancunian brothers revealed they had put their years long feud behind them to hit the road with their incredible back catalogue once again. The band had called it quits in 2009 following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
Noel walked out after being hit over the head with a guitar by his younger sibling in a row that sparked the pair to stop speaking altogether and go on to follow solo projects.
In 1991, Oasis was formed in Manchester, including drummer Tony McCarroll, guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, bassist Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan, and guitarist Liam and Noel Gallagher. Sales and streams of the band’s back catalogue have increased as anticipation for the comeback tour increases.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the first date in Cardiff…
Band lineup
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher are currently organising the rest of the band, and are leaning heavily on performers who used to play in Oasis down the years.
It’s not difficult because many members of the band still perform onstage alongside Noel or Liam. Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, a founding member of Oasis and close friends with Liam and Noel, is credited with attempting to reconcile the two. He has been approached to play rhythm guitar.
Andy Bell, who is currently touring with his own band Ride, should be allowed to play for the Gallaghers in 2025, according to legend.
Guitarist Gem Archer is also still pals with Liam and plays in Noel’s High Flying Birds band so is an obvious choice.
This only leaves a drummer and Alan White has posted hints on social media that he would be up for re-joining the band. Former Oasis drummer Chris Sharrock and Zak Starkey, who plays in Noel’s band, would be other candidates. Tony McCarroll, the original drummer, stated that he would like to re-unite, but that he is not expected to be taken into account.
acts of support
For their 2025 UK and Ireland tour, Oasis will be supported by Richard Ashcroft (formerly of The Verve) and the indie rock band Cast.
- Richard Ashcroft: Richard Ashcroft, the former The Verve lead singer, will play for Oasis on their 2025 tour in the UK and Ireland.
- Cast, an indie rock band renowned for its Britpop hits, will also play for Oasis on the tour.
- US Support: In the US, Oasis will be supported by Cage the Elephant
What will Oasis do next?
Vers the end of the year, the band is scheduled to start rehearsals. Liam took a holiday to France but Noel still has a number of holidays planned.
Noel told friend Matt Morgan in a podcast that he had planned several holidays and went shopping in London last week.
He said: “Over the next two months I’ll be all over the place on holiday. I’m going to the South of France for a week and then I’m going to Ibiza for a week and then I’m back in London for a week and then I’m going to Greece for a couple of weeks and then maybe off to LA to see some friends. I won’t bring my guitar on holiday because I’m staying with friends, so that would be rude. I don’t bring my guitar on holiday, it’s nice to get away from it for a while.”
Liam headlines his own festival in Malta on Sept 22 and also will perform at Anthony Joshua’s next boxing fight on September 21.
Leaked set list
Fans have begun to speculate and request their favourite songs for Oasis to play. Which tracks have reportedly received the most fans so far according to new research from Betfair Casino?
Using number of Spotify streams, YouTube views, and the peak position each song has placed on the UK Singles and Singles Download Charts – the band’s iconic track Wonderwall placed first on the list. Another classic from (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, Don’t Look Back in Anger followed behind in second place, followed by Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Stand By Me, Live Forever, Champagne Supernova and Whatever.
Liam belted out a number of other songs from his debut album, including those by Supersonic, Slide Away, and Columbia, and he also set up Half The World Away, which delighted many fans when he released his solo album, Definitely Maybe, on his recent solo tour.
The band’s I Am The Walrus, a classic from the Beatles, was frequently used as the band’s final performance at previous gigs. Another song fans would love to hear is 1998 B side Acquiesce as it features both Noel and Liam singing the iconic chorus which would work well with the emotion of the reunion.

Liam Gallagher responds to rumoured setlist
A clever fan confronting him directly on the rumored set list responded in cryptic four-words to Liam.
Asked on X, formerly known as Twitter, if the incredible run of songs was close to what the band will be playing, the rock and roll star replied: “It’s not far off”
Resellable tickets
There are strict rules in place for Oasis resales, as tour organisers battle to combat price inflation to prevent ticket touting and bots. Resellable tickets will only be available to purchase on Ticketmaster and Twickets and Oasis themselves have warned against anyone attempting to resell tickets for several times their value on third-party websites.
Since the start of the pre-sale, the band has been attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market, the band said in a statement posted to their social media accounts. Please take note that @Ticketmaster and @Twickets are the only methods for resale of tickets at face value. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be cancelled by the promoters. “
Enhance the learning experience
Oasis will also perform seven nights at the iconic Wembley Stadium with tickets selling out under huge demand. More than 2 million people are expected to attend the biggest concert series in venue history as summer 2025 is anticipated to feature a number of well-known bands and singers performing under the famous arches. Fans can choose the hospitality option to watch the brothers’ reunion in style to give them the best seat in the house for Oasis. Packages include premium seating, VIP access, gourmet dining, and dedicated service. Fans can still purchase VIP packages on the dedicated resale websites, which also sold in record time.
Transport
Prior to the band’s first concert in London on July 25, 2025, LNER has made plans for a special Oasis train public. The 09: 00 Edinburgh to London King’s Cross train will be named the” LNER She’s Electric “service, and there definitely maybe a number of surprises on board as the train rolls with it from Edinburgh Waverley to London King’s Cross ahead of the Wembley concert.
In Oasis history, King’s Cross is special. The band’s first ever London show was held at a nearby pub, according to fans, and the iconic station served as the backdrop for the video for their debut single, Supersonic, was shot on the roof of a nearby building.
The” She’s Electric “service stops in Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, Northallerton, York, Doncaster, Newark Northgate and Peterborough, meaning fans from across the East Coast route can enjoy the Oasis special.
Tickets are currently available for the service. There are many Oasis fans at LNER, according to Stuart Thomas, LNER’s communications director, and we couldn’t let the first London gig go wrong without celebrating. There will be a few surprises on board that will hopefully make our customers feel like a Rock N Roll Star, and while our trains might not be supersonic, they’ll whizz Oasis fans to London faster than a cannonball. “
