Norrie withdraws from Japan Davis Cup tie
The Great Britain team currently has no singles players ranked among the top 75 after Cameron Norrie’s withdrawal from this week’s Davis Cup match in Japan.
Jack Draper had previously decided to skip the tie in order to focus on his hip injury rehabilitation.
Norrie is recovering from the illness that prevented him from competing at the Australian Open.
On Friday and Saturday, Jan Choinski, the world number 194, joins the team for Miki’s first-round match.
Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury are the likely doubles pairing, with Jacob Fearnley and Billy Harris likely to play singles.
