Nicole Scherzinger and Pussycat Dolls’ Robin Antin ‘settle legal war after three years’
Nicole Scherzinger and Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin reportedly settled a three-year legal dispute.
Nicole, a 46-year-old winner of the Olivier Award, formed the group in 2003 as a burlesque group that made its way into the world of pop music. The Don’t Hold Your Breath singer was a member of the group along with Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton.
Before splitting in 2010, the ladies released two albums, with their debut being Doll Domination in 2008 and PCD, which came out in 2005. A major reunion tour of the band was planned for 2019 and a reunion with 10 arena shows were scheduled for 2020, only to have the Covid-19 pandemic cause the tour be postponed. A new disbandment soon followed.
The cancelled tour caused a legal dispute between Scherzinger and Antin, which was scheduled to start in New York the following month. However, new reports have revealed that the women have settled and come to terms.
A settlement was reached on Friday, according to PageSix’s report on Saturday. The publication claims: “]The] parties have reached a settlement in principle, subject to the execution of certain written agreements”. The settlement’s terms, according to the report, were not made public.
According to a source, Scherzinger and Antin, 63, “They actually reached a resolution months ago, but it took some time to formalize the details.” The Mirror has reached out to the artists’ representatives for comment.
When Antin accused Scherzinger of refusing to participate in the tour unless she received total creative control and 75% of the profits, a legal dispute broke out in September 2021. Days later, Scherzinger revealed that her tour had been completely canceled, blinding her bandmates, who claimed the Right There singer had written about it online.

Scherzinger’s legal team had called Antin’s lawsuit “meritless” in January 2022, and claimed the singer had only tried to rengotiate her tour contract after it was initially postponed by the pandemic. Nicole had success both in her professional and personal life despite the legal dispute. She won an Emmy for her role in Sunset Boulevard, a West End musical, and the Broadway production has since been moved to New York City to rave reviews.
The singer, who proposed to her in June last year, has a long-lasting relationship with her rugby player boyfriend, 39, who is also a singer. Scherzinger shared photos from the moment Evans proposed to her on a beach and shared the images on her Instagram grid with the exclamatory note, “I said yes”! accompanied by heart and ring emojis.
