Lloyd Kelly, a Newcastle United defender, has signed for Juventus on loan and will make a permanent summer signing.
The loan covers the remainder of the 2024-25 season, with Juve then having to make the move permanent in a £20m deal.
After his Bournemouth contract expired, former England Under-21 defender Kelly made a free transfer to the Magpies.
However, the 26-year-old has made just 10 appearances in the Premier League this season and has not started since November.
Newcastle’s alleged belief that the deal is too advantageous to decline could improve their standing in terms of the PSR (Profit and Sustainability) rules).
