Former Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa returned to social media following his Glastonbury appearance. The actor took to the stage on Saturday to introduce Jade Thirlwall for her debut solo performance at Worthy Farm.

And following his role, he took to Instagram to share his delight. He wrote on the platform: “Glastonbury for the girls and the gays. Had the honour of introducing @jadethirlwall for her EPIC set.”

He continued, “Jade, your talent and power is insane.” You’ve already become a megastar. But that . You went completely cosmic after that. It’s a pop girly emergency.

It comes after his surprise appearance to introduce the former Little Mix member to the crowd at the Woodsies stage. At the time, the 32-year-old offered up a speech that included explicit tributes to the trans community.

He continued, “I hope you bi****s are f***ing ready!” They’s and they’s, ladies and gentlemen. All of our gorgeous trans sisters. The performance is about to start. Jade was then referred to as “pop’s new crown princess.”

Additionally, he added, “Flash photography and video are encouraged. Enjoy the performance.

Jade’s show received a lot of fanfare as well. Jade boldly expressed her disapproval of Reform UK in her performance on the opulent set.

She wasn’t shy to let her emotions manifest as she sang arousing rendition of FUFN. A segment in which JADE compiles a list of things she wants to give the middle finger includes the song, which is an acronym for “F*** you for now.”

And she chanted, “Reform! During your set!” Transphobia ! shedding arms! “Genocide” ! They echoed back a resounding “F**** you” as they addressed her to the crowd.

She sang Angel of My Dreams while also being emotional there. She thanked her fans for letting me know that this song, Angel of My Dreams, is actually me as a song, even as she tried to cry back.

The song explores JADE’s 15-year career’s peaks and troughs. The lyrics read, “Sitting my soul to a SYCO, they say I’m so lucky,” and the lyrics are from that song.

For their first five albums, JADE was formally a part of Little Mix under the name SYCO, Simon Cowell’s record label. She took a moment to pay tribute to her former Little Mix bandmates by wearing a large fur hat, green jeans, and a white T-shirt with the word “GLASTO.”

She said, “I can’t begin to express how thankful I am to those girls for literally changing my life.” Who would have imagined, eh? that there would be a Little Mix girlie performing at Glastonbury.

The performance was an overall hit and fans were quick to praise her efforts on social media. One user on Twitter/X gushed: “She killed it! I love that the crowd knew her songs and that she mentioned Little Mix too.”

Another added, “That #Glastonbury set from JADE is the kind that makes you go, yep, Pyramid stage soon.” And a third said, “JADE screaming “FU to justifying genocide” to a sold-out audience at Glastonbury is unquestionably one of the many reasons she is my absolute favorite.”
