Military Reiterates Readiness To Flush Out Lakurawa Terrorists
Major General Oluyinka Soyele, the commander of the Theatre Command Joint Task Force North West Operation Fansan Yamma, has reaffirmed that troops are prepared to fight the Lakurawa terrorist group along the border of Nigeria and Nigeria.
Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, the spokesperson for Operation Fansan Yamma, said in a statement that the statement was made on Friday during an operational visit to the DHQ Special Operations Brigade’s tactical headquarters in Balle, Gudu Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
Major General Soyele emphasized that troops in Operation Flush Lakurawa Out must be committed.

He highlighted the imperative of maintaining Nigeria’s territorial integrity, describing it as “non-negotiable”.
As they work to end the criminal organization’s influence on border communities, which threaten peace and security, he delivered a message to the troops of vigilance and determination.
General Soyele reached out to local communities, appealing for their cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
He urged residents to work with security forces in an effort to realize the crucial role that neighborhood support plays in military operations.
He argued that a strong military-community partnership can improve operational effectiveness and promote a strong counterterrorism coalition.
