New mum Michelle Keegan has shared a sweet update with fans after announcing the birth of her first child.
Michelle and former TOWIE star Mark Wright, who tied the knot in 2015, revealed their little girl had been born on Wednesday night. The happy couple wrote on Instagram: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl (love heart emoji). Palma Elizabeth Wright 06.03.25”.
The couple, both 37, also shared a black and white photo of their daughter being held. Now, one day on from sharing her happy news with the public, Michelle has given a further look at how life as a parent is treating her.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the former Coronation Street actress shared a snap of multiple balloons, including one with the message ‘ Baby girl’, in front of her window. The snap, presumably taken inside her Essex mansion, gave a view of the mass of land outside with a beautiful rainbow across the sky.
Last month, the Mark and Michelle reportedly hid from burglars in a locked bedroom during a break-in at their mansion. Essex Police said it was investigating a report of four suspects, who had forced entry and searched the address before fleeing.
The couple were flooded with messages from fans and famous friends on Wednesday night as they introduced their daughter on Instagram. Underneath the post, Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden, The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, YouTuber Joe Wicks and Loose Women star Denise Welch congratulated the pair.
Emily wrote: “This is wonderful news. Love the name too. Congrats guys”. Fitness guru Joe wrote that he was “crying”, added: “I know how much you’ve wanted to be a dad and you’ll be an amazing dad too. This is the most beautiful thing to see. So happy for you both”. Amanda added: “Best news ever congratulations darling to both of you”.
Michelle began her acting career in TV playing Tina McIntyre in ITV soap opera Coronation Street, joining the show in 2008, before going on to star in hit army drama Our Girl as corporal Georgie Lane and in the comedy-drama Brassic as Erin Croft. Mark was a semi-professional footballer who spent time at the youth academies of West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham before he starred in Towie.
He gained further recognition after finishing as a runner-up on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2011, and as a finalist on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2014. He is currently a presenter on Heart FM.
