Following a bruising magazine takedown, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s status as bosses has been redone.
More troubling allegations are made in the damning Vanity Fair piece about the couple’s alleged employment. These come in response to earlier allegations of bullying against Meghan, which she has consistently refuted.
According to insiders, Meghan could be “really, really awful” if things didn’t go her way at work and that frequently things didn’t go well because of the couple’s “demands.” Additionally, it quotes a different author who says, “You can be yelled at even if someone doesn’t raise your voice.”

Another royal expert claims that a former employee told her about Meghan’s tactic when dealing with staff. One former employee, Camilla Tominey, quotes in The Telegraph as saying, “Meghan has a habit of using a whisper shout, so when Harry is in the room, he just hears her talking normally and doesn’t understand why people call her aggressive. His default response is always ‘ Meghan is misunderstood'”.
The article also has sources who are said to be neighbours of the couple in Montecito, saying they were ‘ entitled ‘ and ‘ disingenuous’. Although the Sussexes have not yet made a public comment on the claims made in the article, sources have previously suggested that they find the claims to be “disturbing.”
Sharon Stone reportedly made comments about the couple to people in Montecito when they first moved there in 2020, according to sources close to Harry and Meghan, who claim the couple have since become “giving, caring, and participating part of our community.”

The magazine article was published shortly after a Hollywood Reporter article claimed Meghan had been labeled as “Duchess Difficult.” However, in US Weekly magazine, the Sussexes’ current and former employees publicly defended working for Meghan in the days following the piece.
Josh Kettler, who served just three months as Harry’s chief of staff, was one of the most notable people to speak out before stepping down. Eyebrows were raised when the seasoned public relations professional, who had been reportedly hired to “guide him]Harry] through his next phase,” left.
Mr. Kettler, who had previously held the positions of Cognixion’s chief of staff and head of strategic partnerships, said he and their Archewell team “welcomed him warmly.” He added: “They are dedicated and hardworking. It was impressive to witness”.
Current couple’s current global press secretary Ashley Hansen, who claimed that her bosses couldn’t be more supportive, was another employee who spoke to the magazine. After having a serious operation, she explained that she was forced to take time off and received numerous sweet phone calls, care packages, and flowers from Meghan.
