A royal author claims that Meghan Markle wanted to approach her duties on a part-time basis when she first joined the Royal Family.

In addition to providing insider knowledge about Meghan’s intentions for her position as a working royal, Tom Quinn and Harry called it quits and decided to leave their lives in the UK.

Meghan and Harry’s staff members revealed to the author that Princess Diana had a significant influence on her when she first entered the royal family and that Meghan wanted to “finish” what her late mother-in-law had “started.” The Duchess of Sussex would have preferred to perform their royal duties solely on a part-time basis, which Harry and Meghan have already said.

“Meghan once said, ‘ What Diana started I want to finish, ‘ and we took that to mean she wanted to become a sort of globetrotting champion of the poor and the marginalised”, the insider claimed.

She has succeeded in doing this in some ways, but she really wanted to do it on a part-time basis, they continued.

Harry and Meghan have both stated that they have always wanted to continue serving the crown in some capacity, but it was decided against doing so at the Sandringham Summit in 2020.

When the couple announced in January 2020 that they wanted to “carve out a progressive new role” and “gain financial independence,” they said they wanted to “carve out a progressive new role” and “carve out a progressive new role.”

We have chosen to transition this year by beginning to carve out a progressive new role within this institution after many months of reflection and internal discussions. As “senior” members of the Royal Family, we intend to take a step back and work toward financial independence while preserving our unwavering support for Her Majesty The Queen, according to the statement.

Harry also stated in his memoir Spare that the couple would have preferred a part-time job at the institution, but that the senior courtiers who were at the time would never have been prepared to do so, and that they had already prepared a statement announcing a full break before the summit had even begun.
