Unfounded speculation surfaced as to whether Meghan Markle wore the same designer dress for her With Love, Meghan Christmas special in a 2022 magazine shoot.
Meghan Markle’s representative has furiously refuted unfounded claims that she unlawfully removed a designer gown from a photo shoot.
In 2022, the Duchess of Sussex wore a forest green one-shoulder gown by the designer Galvan for a photoshoot with magazine, Variety.
Now, three years on, eagle-eyed fashion watchers noted that Meghan is wearing the same £1,300 dress in the latest promo for the holiday special of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan. In the promo for her show, which is set to hit Netflix next week, Meghan can be seen in the dress, lighting candles at a table dressed for dinner.

Unsubstantiated rumors claimed that the Duchess had taken the designer piece from the shoot without asking permission after realizing it was the same dress.
However, her spokesperson refuted the rumor, saying that it was “highly defamatory” and “not only categorically false. Any remaining items were kept in complete transparency and according to contractual terms.
In addition, a source told the Express that is is “commonplace and prudent” for items from photoshoots to be kept to avoid people auctioning off garments for large sums of money in the future.
Meghan made another notable magazine appearance just days prior, this time with Harper’s Bazaar. She revealed in the revealing interview that Prince Harry’s “childlike wonder and playfulness” attracted her to him.
Meghan added that having a work-from-home schedule makes her appreciate spending more time with her kids. Meghan shared her feelings for Harry, who she has been dating for nine years, in the magazine’s cover interview, saying, “He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also sees media that I wouldn’t.”
The former Suits actress, 44, said: “No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back. You have someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness. I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me.”
Meanwhile, earlier this week, both Harry and Meghan were seen taking their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet on a rare public outing.
In a series of photos posted to her Instagram stories, Meghan and Harry can be seen smiling as they prepared meals at the Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA), a community-run non-profit kitchen that prepares and distributes meals for people in the city experiencing hardship – alongisde their kids, whose faces were hidden.
Meghan’s signature phrase for the images read “show up, do good,” which serves as the mission of the Archewell Foundation. Following the visit, the Archewell Foundation stated that it “continues to put compassion into action by serving and uplifting communities both locally and globally.”
We honor those who work every day to ensure that no one is forgotten and that our neighbors’ needs are met, the statement read.
