Max George and girlfriend Maisie Smith finally reunite after new health crisis

The Wanted star Max George, 36, was spotted enjoying time with his girlfriend Maisie Smith, 23, after his recent health scare kept them apart.

Max was rushed to A&amp, E by his mum last month, concerned that something was wrong with his heart. In the end, the musician was correct, and he had a pacemaker fitted in a two-and-a-half hour operation after spending several weeks in the hospital. Thankfully, after the successful surgery, he was able to return home right before Christmas.

Now, he’s been seen enjoying a winter walk with Maisie and his dog Albert. In photos taken by The Sun, they all smiled happily on their faces as they crossed paths with the cold weather.

At the time of Max’s hospitalisation Maisie was working in a panto in Canterbury, meaning she couldn’t spend as much time with Max as she’d like. According to an insider, “Max is on her mind 24/7 and wants to be better as soon as possible”

In Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, Max and Maisie first met, and their romance quickly developed. Maisie initially said they were just friends. By observing a ceremony together at an awards ceremony in 2022, they officially ended their relationship. The couple and Lorraine host Ranvir Singh discussed the issues with their 13-year age gap in August.

Both agreed it wasn’t an issue, with Maisie saying: “I’ve always said from the start my family and your family – we’re so close. While we’ve been through some difficulties, Max has been there for my family and myself. Max added: “We’re not bothered about stuff like that”.

Max expressed his worries that he’d never be able to get together with Maisie again in a recent interview. He was so worried about his health that he accidentally put a will on his iPhone while he was in the hospital. He explained: “That first night I wrote a will, I thought I was going to die”.

Speaking to The Sun, he added: “If I could go from being absolutely on top of the world to being told ‘ the bottom part of your heart isn’t working, ‘ I kept thinking in my head, ‘ Well, what if the top half stops working overnight? ‘” He continued to explain how he became aware of “his responsibilities” as a result of the gravity of the circumstance. Thinking of his partner, his family and his “two little nephews”, he wrote out a will.

Unfortunately, Max’s health battle is not yet over. The singer revealed last week that he needed to have his lungs examined for enlarged lymph nodes. In order to discover what may have caused his life-threatening heart condition, Max explained that he would need a biopsy.

He shared: “The doctors have discovered enlarged lymph nodes on my lungs. This might indicate what may have caused my heart issues. In a few weeks, I need to have a lung biopsy. It sounds pretty gnarly. It might provide information on the origin of the problem.
