Megan Forte Clarke, an Irish pantomime star, has reportedly signed up for Love Island’s new series, which will debut on ITV on June 9th.
This summer, Love Island fans will enjoy a treat.after its latest singleton to sign up has been revealed as a stunning Maura Higgins lookalike. The ITV dating show is set to kick off on Monday June 9 and pantomime star, Megan Forte Clarke, will reportedly be making her debut on the show after impressing the powers that be.
Megan, a Dubliner who most recently appeared in the role of one of the Ugly Sisters in Cinderella, is certain to bring the drama to the forefront of Spanish culture. She compared herself to the unlucky-in-love Bridget Jones when she spoke to her TikTok followers, saying, “I am the modern-day Bridget Jones.” Can I restrain a man? Be sincere. Have I recently experienced ghosting once more? Absolutely not. Do I still have great t*ts and am I funny? Obvs”.

Speaking to the Mail about the inevitable comparisons between Megan and Love Island O.G Maura, a TV source said: “Megan is a gorgeous girl, she’s funny, and right now, couldn’t be unluckier in love, making her the perfect Islander.
Comparisons to Maura are inevitable, and Megan will interpret that phrase as a compliment.
According to the claimants, fans won’t have long to wait until the show’s entire lineup is announced when it is released, but they do know the show’s launch is only a week away.
Trained in performing arts at the Brighton Academy, Megan’s last pantomime performance was at The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, last Christmas.
She also boasts 4,000 followers on TikTok with whom she shares a slew of bikini snaps and anecdotes about dating. She also includes pictures of herself and a group of pals dressing up as the stars of Channel 4 comedy, Derry Girls.
Hosted again by Maya Jama, Love Island will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year as a new lineup of sexy singletons descend on the Majorcan villa in the hope of finding romance.
ITV made the return date known on social media, saying, “Mark your calendar, you’re invited to this year’s hottest meeting… Agenda: Initial coupling, identification of potential long-term partnerships, and strategic red flag identification.
Earlier this week, Love Island dropped the first trailer for its upcoming series, with Maya teasing “huge twists” to come from the new summer show.
Maya stated in the video, “To the hottie this may concern.” We’re staying true to the entertainment and leveling up the twists, as per the previous 11 Series. We are on track to achieve our KPI on drama, the Islanders will be laying it out on Factor 50, and the parties have a common goal.
She continued, “It’s time to work hard and produce tangible results.” Let’s make a quick circle back. Best wishes, x” Maya tells her team at Love Island HQ, “Right, this year, Love Island needs something bigger,” in a place with neon signs and inflatable flamingos. a bolder idea. I need inspiration.
