After winning the Masters title at Augusta, Rory McIlroy has since returned to Northern Ireland.
According to the Belfast Telegraph report, a private jet touched down at George Best Belfast City Airport on Friday.
McIlroy won the Masters in a dramatic play-off at Augusta on Sunday, completing his Grand Slam in golf.
McIlroy began his education at St. Patrick’s Primary School before moving on to Sullivan Upper School.
His father, a skilled golfer, took him to the course with his pram, which fueled his interest in the sport.
The Holywood Golf Club, McIlroy’s local course, is situated in the Holywood Hills.
McIlroy first won the US Open in 2007, and he did so in 2007, and he won the PGA Championship in 2012, the first time he had ever done so.
