Marc Marquez won the Argentina Grand Prix for the second time in a row to start the MotoGP season in 2025.

The six-time world champion finished ahead of his brother Alex for the second time in a row after winning the sprint race earlier on Saturday.

Spaniard Marc had won the race for the 96th time at Termas de Rio Hondo, but he had been much ahead of his younger sibling before regaining control and claiming his 90th career victory. Valentino Rossi and Giacomo Agostini are also in the lead in all-time victories, with Angel Nieto, a 13-time world champion, and Angelo Agostini and Angelo Agostini.

The 32-year-old Marquez finished third and 1.362 seconds clear of Alex in a perfect debut for his new team Ducati, while Franco Morbidelli came in third.

With 74 points, Marc is now in command of the riders’ standings in an effort to match Italian Rossi’s seven world titles and claim his first overall title.
