In an explosion at the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON)  ) factory in Kaduna South local government’s (KADUNA) industrial area, many are feared to have lost their lives.
As of the time of filing this report, the incident, which reportedly occurred at around 10 am on Saturday, was said to have left one person dead and many injured.
Our correspondent learned that the explosion’s sound erupted in communities within Kaduna South and Chikun local government areas despite the management of DICON’s decision to not make an official statement regarding the cause of the explosion.
