Major update on Coleen Rooney’s £5million reality TV show amid bidding war

According to reports, Disney Plus is reportedly going to snag Amazon Prime Video to recoup the rights to Coleen Rooney’s new reality TV show.

Bosses at the rival platforms have engaged in a bidding war to bag the Kardashian-style programme, it is said, after Coleen wowed fans with impressive antics during I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The fly-on-the-wall show will follow the Rooneys inside their Cheshire super-mansion and competition has reportedly become fierce for its rights, after Coleen, 38, came second in the jungle in a tense finale.

However, a source in the industry has now stated that the price was going up because Amazon suddenly appeared in the frame and Disney was all set to be Disney. It looks now like the show will go to Disney, but there’s still time. Coleen’s time on I’m A Celeb has made her the nation’s sweetheart, even if she didn’t win. British citizens can’t resist her. Her profile is bigger than ever, and the cost of her family’s reality show will reflect that.

Coleen appeared in the first episode of the most recent series last month, making her one of I’m a Celebrity’s biggest coups in its 21-year history. While living in the jungle, the mother of four encountered terrifying difficulties involving snakes, cockroaches, and rats.

Her agent, Paul Stretford, who also represents her husband, has meanwhile been orchestrating a bidding war between the world’s biggest streaming giants, it is believed.
