Just four months into their relationship, reports claim, a well-known Love Island couple split. Elma Pazar and Sammy Root are alleged to have called it quits after breaking up while filming their coup.
The Only Way Is Essex’s most recent season reportedly filmed the “raw and emotional” scenes, which are scheduled to air later this year. It’s claimed viewers will notice the split isn’t “straightforward” in the footage, which will be broadcast on ITV2 and ITVX.
Although Sammy and Elma aren’t currently together, a source said there is still a great deal of love between them.
As they discuss their issues and how to make their relationship work together, the insider continued to tell The Sun: “While it’s not a straightforward split, viewers will watch how Elma and Sammy manage their feelings on Towie.”
They continued to believe that their future is uncertain and that they still have a strong relationship. Fans will see the couple have a number of heart-felt feelings in front of the camera, the source continued, with the reasons for their split set to become apparent.
According to the source, “the story of the show features some of the most heartfelt and raw footage ever captured for TOWIE.”
Elma and Sammy have regular relationships on TOWIE, but they never had a romantic relationship prior to spending time together on Love Island. Elma told Sammy at the time that she thought they would go outside the bounds.
We haven’t been in each other’s pockets, she said, which I believe is a good thing. It’s nice that both of us have returned to our lives.

Sammy confessed at the time, “If I see anything about us being broken up,” I’ll just DM it to Elma and we’ll laugh about it.
