Harry Cooksley, the star of Love Island, recalled the moment he thought Margot Robbie and he met on an airplane and “chatted the entire way.”
Harry Cooksley, the Love Island star, revealed who his celebrity crush was in the Beach Hut Bonanza Unseen Bits segment and admitted that he believed he had a chance to get involved with the A-lister. Football player Harry, 30, recalls meeting Margot Robbie on an airplane where they allegedly got into a fight and “chatted the entire way.”
He bragged about his celebrity crush, saying, “I sat next to her on a flight, and we chatted the entire way.” And he continued, “I actually believed I had a chance with her.”
The 34-year-old Australian actress, who starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street, rose to stardom and has since appeared in numerous other major films, including Suicide Squad, Babylon, and the recognizable Barbie film that came out in 2023.
A-lister Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley wed eight years ago after first meeting on the set of Suite Française while Ackerley was an assistant director.
They began dating shortly after and married in a private ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia, in December 2016.
Margot is a reported ‘superfan’ of Love Island and has met many of the islanders over the years. She was previously snapped with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Danica Taylor at the Barbie Premiere in London, where islander Chris Taylor even appeared in the movie.
Chris told Cosmopolitan that Margot is “just really down to earth and cool.” One of the nicest people I’ve ever met is her.
Harry has been seemingly jumping between three of the girls in the Love Island villa, where he has been found in hot water. Before establishing a connection with Helena and then pursuing an interest in Yasmin, Harry had a strong interest in Shakira.
When Harry snuck off to the hideaway and kissed Yasmin three times without being honest with Helena, it started in recent episodes. Helena was shocked when his actions were then revealed in an explosive game outside the fire pit.
As Megan yelled to Harry across the fire pit, “You owe it to Helena, you p****, you p****,” voices erupted quickly. You kissed her three times before coming out and saying, “Oh no, I didn’t do anything,” while she’s watching you enter the Hideaway.
Furious Meg added: “Grow a pair of b******* mate, honestly, grow the f*** up”. If Harry develops a lasting connection with the villa, only time will tell.
