Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, has been causing a stir amongst fans during her time in the All Stars villa.
Bound to get viewers talking even more, tonight’s episode sees her and Curtis Pritchard, whom she’s currently in a couple with, are about to make things ‘official’.
Airing later on this evening, Ekin-Su and Curtis are seen catching up by the pool and in the evening Ekin-Su asks Curtis: “I just want to know if you thought it’s going too slow or fast…” Curtis replies: “I don’t think we’re going too fast or too slow, I’m a one woman man and I wanna throw myself into this with no barriers…”
Ekin then adds: “I’m invested in basically you, I’m being vulnerable with you, I can’t give that to another man, maybe I am closed off…that’s how I feel,” to which Curtis agrees: “Yeah, I’d say I’m closed off, it’s nice! ” Ekin-Su laughs and says: “Shut up and kiss me! ”
This comes after recently dumped Love Island contestant India Reynolds shared her thoughts on fellow Islander Ekin-Su hinting she could be there for something other than love.
In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, the 34 year old dumped star discussed Ekin-Su’s decision to join the show – months after refusing to talk about Love Island while on Big Brother. India suggested that Ekin-Su might be “enjoying” the attention and involvement in various situations, though she stopped short of labelling her as overtly playing up to the cameras.
When asked if any contestants were putting on a show, India remarked, “I think Ekin’s probably enjoying being in there and having a bit of fun with it, I don’t know. ” She further elaborated on Ekin-Su’s awareness of the cameras, stating, “Not hyper aware of the cameras, I don’t think it was a play up to the cameras but watching it back, she seems to be in a lot of conversations. “
Following her time in the All Stars villa, Ekin-Su faced backlash on social media for allegedly faking her romance with Curtis. One viewer took to X, formerly Twitter, to write: “So annoying how Ekin-Su plays up for the cameras. I lose count how many times she checks the camera is facing her when she’s in conversation. She’s faking it with Curtis! “
One user wrote: “I’m not buying Curtis and Ekin-Su’s relationship at all! Just screams of a showmance to me! They know what they are doing they know if they stay together throughout the amount of coverage and money they’ll get when they come out! ” Whilst another echoing the same sentiment wrote: “She’s gonna ride their showmance to the final. “
A third penned: “Ekin-su and Curtis really think they fooling us. Someone please hand them their Oscar! ” Other users praised Ekin-Su for ‘carrying the show’. One user penned: “Another #LoveIsland where Ekin-Su is carrying the WHOLE show. ” Whilst another added: “Nah Curtis & Ekin-Su are really a match made in heaven, how they giving the EXACT same advice? “
In 2022, Ekin-Su returned to the UK after her acting career in Turkey. She then joined the eighth series of Love Island, where she won the show alongside Davide Sanclimenti. Following her victory, she appeared on various television programs, including Dancing on Ice, The Weakest Link, The Traitors US, and Celebrity Big Brother.
