After appearing on the show, a former Love Island star turned into a “borderline crack head.” Jourdan Riane and Danny Williams, who first appeared on the show in 2019, have a relationship.
The former couple’s first impression on each other was when he entered Casa Amor on day 26; however, just ten days later, fans voted them off the island. Although they initially had a strong relationship, they broke up after rumors of infidelity.
Danny has now revealed that in an effort to relieve himself of pain, he turned to alcohol and other substances. The reality tv star, who has since found love, claimed he was dealing with personal issues but that he just wanted to pretend everything was alright.
Danny took to Instagram to state, “I just hit the two-year mark without a single drop of alcohol (sic, for those who don’t know),” Long story short, I used alcohol and other substances to mask my pain because it made it easier to pretend than to face my truth.
Most people describe their sobriety as “I have so much more energy now.” My quality of sleep has greatly improved. I’m just overwhelmed. I have a brand-new spring in my step. You want to know what is the biggest benefit of me cutting out alcohol from my life, yes, that’s nice, but to be honest, it’s not my experience.
It is “nothing physically at all.”
Danny continued, “It’s me knowing in my heart that when I lay my head down on my pillow at night, I will have that on the mental scoreboard I have.” I’m breaking free of my past. Instead of avoiding discomfort daily, I choose to face it and develop into a better person, partner, son, and future father as a result.
I am aware that drinking is “socially acceptable,” but I’m not here to suggest that anyone else completely cut it out. However, the fastest way to lose your self-esteem and feel completely inadequate in life is to run away from discomfort because it “doesn’t feel nice” right now.
Deep down, you are aware of the reality that the scoreboard says “yes, he always ran from a challenge,” and no matter how socially acceptable your excuses are, you are. When you constantly prove to yourself that you’re not, how are you supposed to feel capable?

You will be free when you take charge of your fears and confront them head-on. I’ll keep that promise. If you’ve run out of excuses and are ready to reach your full potential, I’m starting my eight-week Summer Sculpt Challenge on Monday.
You are aware of this in your locker, deep down. Before, Danny had an explanation for how much of a hit his reality fame had had on him, explaining how his once prosperous modelling career was at its lowest point when he left Love Island. He claimed that the program “caused more harm than good.”
He continued, “I lost all my clients and I had to start from scratch,” in a social media post. He did, however, manage to restart things just last year and instead used his position and experience to assist upcoming models in navigating the difficult industry.
He stated last year, “Facebook to 2024 and I’m back doing what I love, a career that allows me to travel, collaborate with creatives, and connect with global brands.” Some of my life’s most gratifying tasks have come to me.
