Grace Jackson, winner of Love Island, donned the requisite high street coat for her first New York Fashion Week show.
It’s officially fashion month, with New York Fashion Week wrapping up a few days ago and London Fashion Week just beginning. And Love Island winner Grace Jackson made a statement for her first NYFW debut in a gorgeous brown coat that is going to be the must-have piece for autumn.
Hailing from Karen Millen, Grace sported the Brushed Wool Pu Mix Scarf Neck Belted Tailored Maxi Coat on her way to the Jason Wu Spring/Summer Show.
One of the most popular outerwear styles of the season is scarf coats, largely due to the opulent label Toteme. And luckily, Karen Millen managed to maintain the look as sophisticated as possible while giving it a high street spin.
This coat adds a little drama to your everyday looks while being completely wearable thanks to its scarf neck design. When the temperature drops, the PU trim gives the brushed wool blend a little edge, and the cosy feel keeps you warm when the temperature drops.

For a casual weekend look, layer over jeans and boots with a matching belt to cinch the waist in. Alternately, wear some leather pants and burgundy accessories with it to follow Grace’s example.
Although this piece is definitely an investment at over £400, the coat has managed to stay completely timeless while still maintaining its fashionable appeal, making it a piece you can keep in your autumn wardrobe for years to come.
Michelle Keegan has once more demonstrated her style status as the best model in the world. She is sporting a stunning wool coat, which, according to her description, “goes with everything.”
The Wool Blend Exaggerated Collar Coat, which is available for $95 from Michelle’s most recent collection with Very, is the exact coat.
The Textured Belted Longline Trench Coat from Marks &, Spencer’s most recent autumn drop, available for £90, is a great option for those looking for more new season coats. This maximalist chocolate brown jacket, which was made from croc-textured material, transitions from the traditional tan and beige trench coat to something more contemporary.
