As Curtis Pritchard, her ex-love island beau, returns to the villa, memories are likely to resurface for Maura Higgins.
This evening, Curtis, 28, will be going for another shot at Love Island: All-Stars, nearly six years after he and Maura first locked eyes on the show.
The former couple only lived in the real world for eight months, despite their apparent perfect match at the time. Maura’s time in the villa likely resembles a completely different life because she is now linked to another well-known person.

‘ Dream home ‘
The Mail Online reports that Ballymahon-born Maura has reportedly splashed out a cool £1.25 million on a dream home with five bedrooms, including one with an en suite. Taking to Instagram, the Irish TV personality, who purchased the Essex property in October, appeared thrilled as she shared: ‘ Bought my dream house’.
Maura’s recent purchase, which features a stunning new kitchen with an enormous marble kitchen island and a chic waterfall chandelier, is a significant improvement over her previous one-bedroom home in Essex.
The stunning property, which has a large, glamorous seating area and a large, enclosed garden, is reportedly close to Pete Wicks’ West Essex bachelor pad. Although the rumored couple have both denied the rumored relationship, romance gossip has been swirling around for some time.
The star will be greatly comforted by the new pad’s location in a highly secured area. After three masked men broke into Maura’s home in May 2023, it was reported that she had been “shaken up.”
A source who spoke to The Sun at the time said: “Neighbours caught it all on CCTV, and it was chilling to see three masked men ram through the gates and begin trying to break into cars. Numerous well-known names who reside in that complex are present. It is worrying for everyone, including Maura”.

Taking to Instagram at the time, with a pic of the covered car fastened with a festive-looking bow, Maura announced: “My baby has arrived finally”.
After her previous car “went up in flames,” Maura claims she made this lavish purchase. In an Instagram story shared back in September, Maura vented her frustrations after experiencing a motoring mishap, sighing: “When your car goes on fire in the middle of London. Been here for over 2 hours now … Also car just had a service &, MOT 2 weeks ago so that’s nice!!…. stranded Higgins GOD I LOVE RANGE ROVERS!!!! “!
And Maura always makes a point of being generous with her loved ones when it comes to slick motors. Back in 2021, Maura uploaded footage of her “speechless” mum, Sharon, weeping for joy as she opened her opulent Christmas present – a Mercedes Benz, that can cost as much as £60, 000. Maura said at the time: “You deserve everything and more, Merry Christmas mammy”.
Incredible fortune
Maura has earned an estimated £3.2 million from her lucrative TV appearances, and the opportunities are plentiful. According to the Mail, Maura worked for the lingerie company Ann Summers and Boohoo shortly after leaving the Love Island villa in 2019. And there was no flash in the pan for this enormous payday.
After being chosen as Bondi Sands beauty ambassadors and receiving a reported £70, 000 each, Maura and India Reynolds kept their summer glow just weeks after the fifth season of Love Island ended. Missy Empire, which offers many influencers up to £40, 000 for promotions, also made sure to snap Maura up as soon as she landed on the runway.
The reality star made £150,000 from her time on Dancing on Ice after a year of gaining notoriety on the popular dating program. By this point, Maura, who was still in her late 20s, was earning as much as £10, 000 every single week thanks to social media endorsements, and things only continued to soar from thereon.
Maura released a very well-liked collection in 2022 as a result of a successful PrettyLittleThing partnership. It is safe to assume that this collaboration contributed significantly to Maura’s growing fortune given that influencers can make up to £100,000 per clothing edit.
