Louise Redknapp reveals touching reason why she never tried to find her biological dad

Louise Redknapp claims that she only feared it would hurt her mother and stepdad’s feelings by trying to find her biological father. The singer, 50, was raised by Lynne and Tim Nurding, her mother.
Two sons from a previous relationship were already present, and Mr. Nurding and his family are now together. Louise, a mother-of-two, once said, “I actually thought, “I’m happy with my lot” when my mother met my stepdad and they had two boys.”
She said, “It wasn’t until I was older and having kids that I realized there is someone out there that I could actually be walking down the street next to and I wouldn’t know.”
Louise continued, “I had such a loyalty to my mum and my dad; he’s my stepdad but I call him my dad. I had such a loyalty to them.” I didn’t look for anyone I don’t know because I was more loyal to them.
Even though I believe they would have approved or supported me, I am extremely good at putting myself in someone else’s shoes, even if I don’t want to admit it. I actually believed that I didn’t want to hurt them in any way.
After splitting from football player Jamie Redknapp in 2017, the former Eternal singer added that her sons, 20 and Beau, kept her going on the Happy Place podcast.
She admitted, “I think I would have just given up if I hadn’t had my kids.” However, Louise has since rekindled her romance with businessman Drew Michael since 2023.
