Judi Love explains to us that finding a balance between her work as a comedian, mother to two teenagers, and her Loose Women panel career. With a 19-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son, both from a previous relationship, Judi isn’t afraid to admit she sometimes suffers from the dreaded “mum guilt”.

It’s perfectly normal for a mother to try to balance a career with a full-time job with the time they can get with their kids. I always try to remind myself that as long as I’m doing my best to nurture them and set an example, which we all are, there’s nothing to be guilty about”, says Judi, 44, who is fiercely private when it comes to her children being in the spotlight.

Adding that she’s never too far from her family, Judi continues, “My sets are often inspired by my children, I talk a lot about them in my shows. When I’m traveling with my kids, it feels like I’m bringing some of them with me.

Judi rose to fame in 2011 when she began her stand-up comedy career, and has since become a household
name, making regular appearances on ITV ‘ s Loose Women since 2020. While she may be flying high now, life hasn’t always been so glamorous for Judi, who grew up in Hackney, east London, and was qualified as a social worker before moving into comedy. “I never take my career for granted”, she says. “I did go through some difficult times, so I’m really appreciative of everything.” You must be thankful and work hard to realize your dreams because I constantly remind myself that it could change any day.

She continues, “I’ve always had a performing streak, right from being a young child. I was the joker of the family because I was the youngest of five, always trying to entertain and make people laugh.

Judi continues to try to spread laughter even though it seems like not much has changed. “I always say, ‘ Laughter is healing. ‘ That’s always been my approach to overcoming life’s obstacles. I try to find humor in the everyday, and I’ve personally witnessed how laughter can unite people and make them forget whatever curveballs life may throw their way, even for a moment. Life’s too short not to have a laugh”.

Judi is now executing her dreams in a specific manner. She tells us about some career highlights she’s enjoyed while working on Loose Women, saying, “The show has given me such a range of wonderful opportunities.
has opened up so many opportunities for me in my career. I had the honour of meeting and interviewing my idol Whoopi Goldberg, I’ve interviewed Naomi Campbell, I’ve interviewed Janet Jackson. All of those experiences and career highlights are things I’ll never forget.

The show has not only catapulted Judi’s career, but has also acted as a platform for her to break taboos, including opening up about her struggles with endometriosis. Endometriosis was first identified almost 20 years ago, but Judi claims it wasn’t simple to discover.

“My diagnosis took about five years, and the typical wait time is as long as nine. For women, our pain is often not always taken seriously, so symptoms are just put down to having ‘ bad periods’. At the time, it wasn’t spoken about much, so when I received my diagnosis I honestly didn’t really know what it was, but the effect on my life, my physical and mental health, was sometimes unbearable”, she admits.

“I believe it’s crucial that people start having more open discussions about endometriosis and the possible effects, as well as pushing for diagnoses,” he said, adding that it’s crucial that people start talking about the pain until it is recognized or acknowledged.

She lives up to the adage “health is wealth” (PA).

Judi uses the new year as a chance to prioritize her well-being because she is passionate about tackling health stigma. “I like to be active, I really enjoy boxing – it makes me feel good”, she says. One of my main tenets is “health is wealth,” so I keep that in mind when setting goals. It’s really worthwhile to devote some time to being active. My plan is to keep those habits because it’s an ongoing habit for me to work around my schedule.
the rest of 2025″.

Judi claims that she has taken more care with her eating and drinking habits since she was in her forties. She adds, “You do have to be more careful as you get older I’ve found, and I’m more mindful of what I’m putting into my body”.

In that same vein, Judi has kicked off 2025 by joining forces with Pink Lady apples for a new campaign. She goes on to say, “The campaign is all about fear of being judged at lunchtime. I’m so excited to be working with Pink Lady apples.” According to new research, 81% of office workers admit they wouldn’t eat the same foods at work that they enjoy at home, because they fear being judged by coworkers. You do you, which is how I try to live my life, is the campaign’s message!

We wonder, what are lunch breaks like behind the scenes at Loose Women? We do embrace the food that makes our lunches happy, and it’s a real blend. says Judi. “Sometimes I’ll fancy going to a café near the studio, and other times I’ll want something warm, like homemade leftovers, that I’ll bring in. I’d always look forward to homemade curry, which is always one of my go-to lunches for work!

My lunch typically contains a lot of flavor, which leads to some pleasant smells and possible food envy as well! Although there is always plenty of delicious food around for lunch, we all occasionally experience food envy.

What else will Judi have in store for her in 2025?

” My goals are very career focused, “she says”. I love being on stage doing comedy, there’s nothing like it. Therefore, I’d love to return to the stage because I’m working on new material and aiming to do so soon.
