Nadia Sawalha first rose to fame through her acting career but now she is a regular on our screens as she is one of the original panelists on Loose Women

An iconic Loose Women star has been forced to cancel her shows after a family member was rushed to hospital. Nadia Sawalha was booked up for the month of December as she was set to perform in a set of live shows with her husband Mark Adderley.

This was due to include her daily news digest Coffee Moaning and relationship podcast How To Stay Married (So Far). However, the TV star announced on Thursday that she was having to cancel all of her scheduled jobs due to an illness in her family.

The actress took to her Instagram page to share a statement, which was also written by her husband Mark. The note read: “Cancellation. We are very sorry but we have cancel coffee moaning and ALL live shows on The Sawalha-Adderleys YouTube channel due to family illness. We will let you know more asap.

“Love Nadia and Mark xx.” Friends and fans of the star were quick to send their messages of support to the Loose Women panelist.

Dr Amir Khan wrote: “Sending love,” along with a red heart emoji. While a fan posted: “Sending love to you and your family.”

It is unknown who it is who is unwell in Nadia’s family. Nadia often posts to her joint YouTube channel with husband Mark.

They have a channel together called The Sawalha-Adderleys where they mainly post food and family content. Their most recent video features Nadia updating their followers on the health of her mother-in-law Diane, who they nickname Nanny Di.

She said in the video that Nanny Di was “quite poorly in hospital” as followers wished her a speedy recovery. This comes as Loose Women is set to undergo a schedule shake-up.

The show previously announced that new scheduling will impact the show as well as fellow programmes Lorraine, The Morning and Good Morning Britain.

The changes will come into place from January 2026 where the shows will be filmed from a new location in central London.

Loose Women will go back to its previous slot which is 12.30pm until 1.30pm slot. It will also run on a 30-day seasonal basis.

Loose Women is also set to lose its live studio audience which means comedian Lee Peart will lose his job after acting as the show’s warm up act since 2017.

Nadia previously addressed the departure of her “dear friend” Lee during an episode of her Coffee Moaning podcast with husband Mark Adderley.

She said at the time: “From next year there will be no Loose Women audience. I am totally devastated by this fact, I can’t get over it at all.
