Midway through her Coachella performance, Messy Singer Lola Young was forced to leave the stage so she could vomit during her live performance.

During her Friday Coachella set, Lola Young battled through illness to avoid having to leave the stage to vomit.

The 24-year-old pop star ran backstage while requesting a bucket to be sick into during her set, which was performed in 40 degree heat. The singer has had a lot of success with her smash single, Messy, but she had to take some quick steps to stop it from stumbling on stage.

The singer shared details of the moment on her Instagram page on Friday. Lola posted a montage video of her trying to sing through her sickness. After suffering a couple waves of nausea, during which she retches, Lola eventually ran off stage asking: “Can I get a bucket?”

Another video features Lola dancing while covering her mouth before saying, “It was getting really bad here guys.” Lola made the decision to go backstage to find a bucket after this thought because she could no longer contain her illness.

However, Lola was soon back and captioned the clip, “And I’m back n twerking my way through the sickness,” as the show must continue. The moment she told the audience, “That wouldn’t have been cute if I threw up,” was the final clip of her montage.

If you’re coming today, it might be messier, Lola wrote in the caption of the post. trying my best to stay there. She added that the situation was caused by her anxiety, which was “40 bloody degrees” (). I’m back today, same time, same tent love ya x, lolola concluded by urging fans to come back later to see her perform once more.
