
An open-top bus carrying Premier League champions Liverpool will pass through the city, it has been announced.
The Reds won their 20th top-flight trophy with a 5-1 victory over Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday, clinching their second Premier League title.
On Monday, May 26, the bus will depart from Allerton Maze at 14:30 BST, then follow a nine-mile (15 km) route including Queens Drive and The Strand, ending on Blundell Street.
“Bumper bank holiday weekend”
The parade, which City Council of Liverpool is organizing, is expected to last three to five hours.
Liverpool Football Club will be paraded around the city on May 26th, according to Liam Robinson, the council’s leader.

Robinson claimed that a “bumper weekend in Liverpool” was on the cards, noting that a lot of preparation work had already been done in secret.
From Friday, May 23 through Sunday, May 25, inclusive, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend will bring a large crowd of music lovers to Sefton Park.
Crystal Palace visit Anfield on May 25 to end Liverpool’s Premier League campaign.
On the final day of the season, Everton’s rivals play at home in Goodison Park.

What is the parade route?
The Liverpool victory parade will depart from Allerton Maze and head north on Queens Drive, past the Rocket Flyover and the Fiveways roundabout.
From there, it will travel along the following paths:
• Queens Drive
• Mill Bank
• West Derby Road
• Islington
• Leeds Street
• The Strand
Is it free to attend the parade?
Fans are encouraged to line the entire route during the free parade.
Where to park and how to get there
Fans who want to visit the city for the parade are advised to make advance travel plans.
Additionally, they are being informed that it is forbidden to use pyrotechnics and flares on their own.
A council representative said that Liverpool FC, Merseyside Police, Merseytravel, and themselves would soon be providing more information and advice.
Merseyside Police Chief Insp Chris Barnes predicted rolling road closures to accommodate the parade, with some delays coming along with it.
“We would ask drivers to be patient, or as much as possible, we would advise them,” he continued.
