Lily Phillips, the creator of the content, has opened up about being bisexual and how more comfortable she is with a woman when they “understand” one another more.
Lily Phillips has revealed that she is bisexual and envisions settling down with a woman. The content creator, known for her risky online stunts, has so far had few conversations about dating.
But while Lily often appears on screen with men, fans will now see a different side to her, as she explores dating women for the first time. “I think now, in the year 2025, it’s not that much different to dating straight people,” she told the Mirror. Lily added: “I think around bisexuality, people are more open these days.
“I’ve never felt any judgment from that, so to me, it’s just like dating boys.” Lily’s dating life will now be seen on ITV’s Blind Matchmakers, with the contestants completely blindfolded as they look for love. Unlike other shows such as Love Island and Too Hot to Handle, the contestants can only rely on voice, confidence, humour and the personality of the person they are meeting.
Speaking of being on the show, “It was great to see the other side,” according to the host, “I’ve been on more dates with men.” Lily acknowledges that her experience was fantastic, even though some people may find dating in the dark to be unfavorable.
You won’t ever find a connection like that with a man, she said, “I think women’s relationships are amazing.” We, in my opinion, understand one another more. You have sex, but you’re best friends with my ideal partner, and you’re also attracted to one another.

She continued, “I do believe there is a good chance that it might be a woman,” adding, “I’m very interested in women these days but not soon.” I really enjoy focusing on my career, but I don’t have the time or effort to do it right now because dating requires so much time and effort. When I begin dating, I want to put all of my efforts into that and provide for someone who needs and wants it.
I’m not dating because I’m being selfish at the moment. She admits that watching the show was “so bizarre” and that her senses grew throughout. You never realize how hesitant you are to move forward, she said of wearing a blindfold. However, participating was a no-brainer for Lily, who frequently receives negative reviews on social media for her antics because viewers didn’t realize the young woman who was in charge.
I adored the notion that there is no preconceived notion of how someone looks or what kind of biases exist behind it, Lily once said of the show. She continued, “I think it’s kind of like Blind Dates because it’s nice to date someone based on their personality and voice, not necessarily by how they look.” Lily said, “If you don’t like the way they look, they’re out of the picture, you’re dating as a woman in her early 20s.”
Dating apps now narrow down their search using around five images and a string of questions, including “Dream dinner guests” and “Describe your ideal Sunday” before even speaking with the person at the other end.
I personally find someone to be more attractive because I become more drawn to them and form a relationship with them. Although there are hundreds of men waiting to meet her, Lily acknowledges that her dating life is not all that it’s cracked up to be.
She described her quest for love as “challenged.” I don’t really date anyhow, in all truth, that much, Lily continued. I’ve never been on a date, and I’ve always felt like “This is going to be serious,” so I just assumed that someone would never date me because they knew what I do. But let’s go out for some drinks and have a good time.
“So definitely challenging, but we won’t quite cross that bridge yet,” he continued. Lily acknowledges that “people who she wouldn’t date” if they had no regard for her career or wouldn’t support her. I wouldn’t want to date them in any way because I don’t like living in that way.
Additionally, in addition to her lucrative adult content career, Lily is seen in her most vulnerable state. She said, “I think it’s always challenging to put yourself out there.” You’re putting yourself out there for people to pick apart, Lily continued, and that’s difficult. I don’t mind sharing my vulnerability with close friends and trusted friends, but posting it online is different. I believe that to be yourself and bear everything online or on television requires a lot of self-assurance and bravery for people to kind of put their two pence into.
But for Lily, who has amassed millions of followers on social media and OnlyFans, she admits it’s a “learned skill” to block out the hate. “I’ll always see like eighty per cent nice comments and obviously twenty per cent horrible,” she commented. She admits she tries to avoid reading any negative comments and avoids searching for her name on social media and Google. “It can be hard for me,” she admitted before shly adding: “I wouldn’t take advice from these people, so why take criticism from them?” Lily admits that she’s never criticised people on social media, so would struggle to absorb any hate she receives.
She said, “It typically comes from things like their own insecurities or jealousy.” But how does a person who has gained notoriety from her infamous adult videos manage her career? Lily explained: Just making sure I have a good circle around me, whether that’s friends and family who I can talk to confidently about anything I’m struggling with. Or even a lot of women in the industry, who will understand my concerns, which is really nice.
Everyone in the adult industry is just so welcoming and they all understand it because they all experience the same experiences.
