For the first time since confirming their break-up, Nicole Poole has admitted she thought her boyfriend was “The One” and is now focusing on “healing.”
Liberty Poole has admitted taking time out for herself after her shock break-up from Joshua Raybould, despite thinking he was “The One”. The former Love Island star confirmed earlier this month that she had split from the aspiring DJ after a “breakdown in communication”, and now tells Mirror she’s off travelling to look for her husband.
You’ve seen me go through it on national TV, I’ve been through a lot of breakups, I mean, I mean! So I’ll be fine, then. However, I did believe he was “The One,” Liberty says at Shoreditch Superdrug Presents. At the end of the day, Liberty, who has just launched her own swimwear line for bigger busts, Uplifted the Label, continues, “I just have to focus on myself, my work, and my new business.”
Last August, Liberty, 25, and Joshua, 28, who had been a long-time friend, went public with him and made an appearance that he was in love with. After a failed romance with Jake Cornish on the 2021 series of Love Island, where Liberty left her co-star and the villa, the episode ended.

She has since appeared on Love Island spin-offs All Stars and The Games, but she has had a difficult time connecting with them. I’ve previously been alone, but I’ve never been able to handle it properly. I’m really trying to deal with it the right way and properly this time. I believe that when you experience a breakup, you learn a lot about yourself, who you are as a person, and what you want in the future, says Liberty.
And Liberty claims to be having a great time this summer when it comes to avenge a bad breakup. She continues, “I’m ready to travel, you’ll see me as an international girl,” and adds that she’s looking for Mr. Right as she travels.
She continues, “I feel like I’ve been in Birmingham long enough to realize that my husband won’t be there, I’m not going to find him there!” Next, we’re looking for a global baddie.
“I’d really like a businessman, so I’m looking for someone who is older and mature. I think starting my own business would work really well.”
Liberty is single just in time for a new season of Love Island: All Stars, but she says it’s unlikely we’ll see her on the show once more. I’ve done it three more times, and I believe my time at Love Island is over. And since I prefer people who aren’t typically in public, I’m looking for more. Someone who will back me, and I can back them.
Liberty confirmed her split from boyfriend of one year Joshua in an Instagram statement earlier this month, writing at the time: “: “Hi guys, just wanted to address this one time only. Josh and I are no longer together. I know I shared a lot of my relationship and happiness online I did that because I honestly believed this would be my happy ending and was it for me as far as dating went.”
Sadly, life isn’t a fairy tale. My first experience with much was this. First genuine love, first serious relationship, first first time having a partner, first time having a family member. No relationship is completely perfect without the addition of many unanticipated challenges.
There was no significant scandal or cheating, she continued. Just an unrecoverable communication deterioration. Josh and I have a mutually supportive relationship, and Josh and I both have fond memories of our union. I wish him the very best of luck in the future and sincerely hope he finds happiness, love, and peace.
“I’m going to keep focusing on my healing,” I said. Yes, I was simultaneously launching my business and going through a breakup. My love story is just a chapter away from being written.
I also wanted to say thank you to any strangers who stopped by and expressed condolences this past month. When a girl was down, you raised her. I sincerely hope you will continue to support me during the growth era of my boss. “Lover girl out for now. “
