Liam Gallagher has been spending much-needed time with mum Peggy during his Oasis reunion tour with brother Noel Gallagher. The 52-year-old singer was full rock and roll during the Nineties but swapped it for a more wholesome vibe with the highly anticipated reunion tour.

After 16 years of being locked in a contentious feud, the famous brothers reformed Oasis to much fanfare. The band began a string of shows in Cardiff before moving to Manchester’s Heaton Park. They are also gearing up for a number of sold-out shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Liam and his mother Peggy enjoy spending some quality time together while on tour, where his sons are always thrilled to see their sons perform on stage. Before Oasis takes to the stage, her other son, Paul Gallagher, will also perform a DJ set.

A source recently told The Sun that Liam is “incredibly close to Peggy and has loved spending time with her during the tour.” She is anticipating seeing all three of her boys perform at Wembley.

The source went on to say Liam has been ‘putting his head down’ and ‘focusing on the tour’. The Mirror have contacted Oasis’ reps for comment.

It follows Peggy’s forced exit from Heaton Park due to illness. She had previously discussed having them perform on the Oasis Live 25 tour, but she still resides in Manchester where she raised her three boys in Burnage.

Due to concerns about her health and the standing nature of Heaton Park, The Mirror became aware of her decision to not see them there.

Peggy is “absolutely keen to go see Oasis again” and “couldn’t be more proud to read about the shows in Cardiff and Manchester,” according to a source with the time.

However, if she does attend the band, Liam and Noel want her to feel at ease. She needs a comfortable spot if she plans to attend one of the shows and spend a few hours there because she recently underwent knee replacement surgery.

While they are in Manchester, they will both be able to spend time with her, but they won’t rush to see her.

There are better access and transportation options, and she can be treated like a queen with any food she wants. “Somewhere like Dublin or Wembley is a more likely location.”

The band will play Wembley, Edinburgh, and Croke Park in Dublin following their performances at the Manchester shows. The band will then travel the world.
