Leigh-Anne Pinnock, a former Little Mix singer, is concerned for her family as deadly Hurricane Melissa rips through Caribbean nations at 185 mph with gusts as high as 185 mph.

Former Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has shared prayers with her grandparents and others facing the deadly Caribbean storm. Hurricane Melissa has made landfall in Jamaica and is bringing winds of up to 185mph – making it officially the strongest storm on record to hit the Caribbean island.

It’s left people bracing for the “catastrophic” repercussions of the storm and the singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her well wishes for those impacted. Leigh-Anne, 34, wrote on her Stories: “Prayers to my Grandparents, family and everyone in Jamaica and the Caribbean right now.”

She captioned her post with a red love heart. She shared her concern in the form of words that were merely displayed on a black background.

Heavy rain has already swept through southwest Jamaica, and winds have already slammed down buildings and thrown boulders into roads. Prior to being downgraded, the storm was initially categorized as a Category 5 storm.

Melissa is anticipated to make her way to eastern Cuba after wreaking havoc in Jamaica. More than 500,000 people have been evacuated from areas deemed vulnerable to flooding and extreme winds, according to authorities.

The Met Office recently shared a verdict on how Hurricane Melissa could impact weather in the UK in the coming days.

Leigh-Anne recently discussed her marital issues as a result of her husband’s work experience away from the family. She revealed she only sees her husband’s football player Andre Gray three times per month despite the fact that they make the most of their time together when they can.

The actor has claimed that their relationship is “s***” and has been ongoing for the past three years due to his career taking him abroad. Andre currently spends the majority of his time in Turkey playing for the Turkish side Fatih Karagümrük.

She acknowledged in a statement on Chris and Rosie Ramsey’s podcast Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed that even with my husband living abroad, we might see each other three days a month.

We have been doing that for three years, and it’s so s**t. The twins are only now four years old.

Leigh-Anne responded, “So hard,” when host Rosie inquired about how difficult the setup was for Andre. He’s having a little trouble being fair.
