With a three-shot victory at the Women’s PGA Championship, Australia’s Minjee Lee won the third major title of her career.

On her final round of golf in Texas, the 29-year-old held off the chasing pack with a two-over-par 74.

After finishing ahead of Auston Kim and Chanettee Wannasaen, Lee was one of only three players to finish under par for the weekend in windy conditions.

The Fields Ranch East field had a field average of just over 75, which is the highest mark for any LPGA Tour major in a decade.

In her first six holes, Lee initially struggled with the conditions, bogeying three times.

With two-under-par rounds of 68, both Kim and Wannasaen came in at one hour before Lee.

The Australian maintained his composure on the back nine, making back-to-back birdies on the 14th and 15th.
