He posted after the football presenter, who had collided on ITV4, collapsed on the field.

Love Island star Adam Collard has issued an update on his fiance Laura Woods after she dramatically collapsed on TV tonight and had to be caught by pundit Ian Wright. The presenter, 38, fell forward in a dramatic on-air moment at St Mary’s stadium in Southampton ahead of England Women’s match against Ghana with the channel quickly cutting to adverts.

Adam, 30, wrote a reassuring message to fans saying simply: “Laura is all OK and with the right people. Thank you for all of your kind messages” signing the post with a white heart. ITV added that the star is “doing OK”.

Katie Shanahan, a different presenter, intervened in the incident and claimed Laura had been “taken ill.” She stated, “I’m stepping in at late notice because we don’t have the wonderful Laura Woods because she’s just taken ill but she’s in very good hands.”

Fans expressed their gratitude to Laura, with one saying, “Really hope Laura Woods is okay. Ian Wright and Anita Asante, thank you for catching her. Fair play to the substitute presenter who intervened, with some work.

Laura and Adam have been together since 2023, shortly after he completed his second stint in the Love Island villa. The pair welcomed their first child together, a baby boy called Leo, in January.

Earlier this year, Laura opened up about the “very awful times” she and fiancé Adam endured after she suffered a miscarriage. She shared a video of him on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, on which he cried recalling the moment.

She stated, “I’ve been so proud to watch him on this, even though we went through some very bad times last year, but this big, beautiful man has saved me through each of them.”
