Fans have been expressing their disappointment and frustration online after watching clips of Lana Del Rey’s debut performance of her Stadium Tour at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
It’s proving to be a sad summer for Lana Del Rey fans after they’ve been left supremely dismayed by the singer’s Stadium Tour – with some even describing it as a “scam”.
The tour kicked off on June 23 with a performance in Cardiff Principality Stadium, with concerts scheduled in Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin and London. But on the back of clips circulated from her Cardiff performance, certain fans have been scrabbling to get rid of their tickets.
Sebastian Sochan, a fan of hers, took to TikTok to express his shock after watching some of her Cardiff set footage. He claimed, “I’m seeing Lana Del Rey in London, and the Cardiff setlist literally makes me want to resell my ticket because you can’t obviously get a refund.”

He continued, “I’ve been a Lana fan for years; I actually went on her first UK tour.” I believe it’s illegal to go on a stadium tour with only [15] songs.
He argued that “people don’t know the lyrics if they’re not massive fans because of those songs,” and that two or three of those songs are covers. Three more of those have slang meaning in them. He also noted that Lana didn’t even sing during several songs when she performed via a hologram.
Due to the singer’s alleged 20-minute show and a half-long Cardiff performance, a significant issue was also raised with her timekeeping. It disrespects the fans to be 20 minutes late once more. When will the fandom actually say that you need to start putting in the work and that this is really unprofessional?” he continued.

Commenters quickly shared their own irritation. Additionally, four of the songs are covers! One of my friends has purchased tickets to Glasgow, and I’ve been a fan since 2010, but they are being defrauded. Another critic called the setlist “crazy” and “disappointing” and said that adding a hologram and two shorter songs would be crazy.
The price of her tickets was also point of contention amongst fans. During the presale it was confirmed that tickets will be priced between £78.40-£405, as reported by Pink News, with rear standing tickets going for £112.
When we are all paying money to see her, it irritates me how she treats the shows themselves as a hobby. She just seems to dislike fans, but I still enjoy the music, according to a third person.
Another commenter expressed how disrespected were fans of the concert who had traveled far away. People are flying all the way from China to see her perform, and she needs to take responsibility and fix things. I love her, but that’s not what they’re doing.
